These Vacation Themed Sentence Helpers are designed specifically for special education students, providing scaffolded instruction to help them build sentences with confidence. Starting with errorless teaching and gradually reducing prompts, this resource guides students toward generating their own sentences.
This product includes 14 vacation-themed sentence helpers, and includes three phases:
- Phase 1 (Errorless Learning): Students choose any word to complete the sentence, and every choice is correct.
- Phase 2 (Discrimination): Students must select the word that makes sense, differentiating between correct and incorrect options.
- Phase 3 (Generate): The word bank and pictures are faded out, encouraging students to generate their own words to complete the sentence.
A digital version is also included, perfect for the classroom or distance learning. Students can easily open the file with Google Slides, drag a circle to select the word that completes the sentence, and type out their finished sentence.
